How to setup Salastitude - Latitude sharing apk for android
- For Android 4.0 or higher:Please to Settings, look down to Security, and select Unknown sources. Choosing this choice will enable to install apps download from the internet.
- For devices running on lower Android 4.0:
Please go to Settings - open the Applications option, and select Unknown sources, click OK on the popup alert.

About Salastitude:A very nice and useful alternative to the discontinued google latitude.
• Share your location with friends and family
• Smart update:
- It will update faster when you are moving
- It will update every hour when you are still to save battery and keep your position updated
- Updates on 3g/wifi connection changes, so if you are on a trip, it will update as soon as it gets a data connection.
• Per friend visibility level:
- you decide what you want to share and to whom:
• Share only you city
• Share your neighbourhood
• Share your position completely
• Request a friend update when you really need it
- If you need to know where a friend or parent is right now , just request an update and their position will be updated. (10 minutes minimum interval)
• Get the correctly distance between you two.
• See all your friends in a map
• Define an local alias to your friends
• Get notified when you and your friend are on the same city. (Useful if you travel a lot)
• Define bookmark points and get notified when your friend is around those points
• Be notified when you friend travel across cities and a draw his route over a map.
