How to setup NFC for Tasker apk for android
- For Android 4.0 or higher:Please to Settings, look down to Security, and select Unknown sources. Choosing this choice will enable to install apps download from the internet.
- For devices running on lower Android 4.0:
Please go to Settings - open the Applications option, and select Unknown sources, click OK on the popup alert.
NFC for Tasker Details
***It's a Tasker plugin, it requires Tasker 4.7+******In order to read or write an NFC tag, both NFC sensor and the screen must be ON***
Create an event using Tasker Event->Plugin->Nfc for Tasker. You can create events filtering according tag id.
You can write NFC tags using a Tasker action. With the free version you can write 4 carachters. With the pro version you can even use Tasker's variables.
Note: if your tag is not detected, you can try to format it with the plug. Then try again.
Some tags provide a random ID each time they are read so in this case the id filter doesn't work.
